Exhibition - 'Travelling Without Moving'

Megalo is very excited to invite you to Travelling Without Moving, our upcoming exhibition by Melbourne/Naarm artist Damon Kowarsky. The exhibition presents Kowarsky’s beautifully rendered etching and aquatints, through which he explores human and non-human landscapes.

The core of Damon Kowarsky’s work across drawing, printmaking and painting lies in his interpretation of architectural spaces and public landscapes worldwide. Throughout his travels in Europe, Asia and the Americas, he collects experiences and vistas for translation into evocative, narrative and immersive images. The exhibition includes
work created over the past four years, spanning a period of disruption that has both challenged and inspired Kowarsky’s practice.

About the artist:

Damon Kowarsky studied printmaking at Victorian College of the Arts and Glasgow School of Art. Since graduating he has travelled extensively. Architecture and the colours of earth and sky inspire much of his work. Kowarsky has received numerous awards and exhibited widely both in Australia and internationally.

Travelling Without Moving runs 5 February to 19 March
Megalo is open 9.30am to 5pm | Tuesday to Saturday
