The Banyule Award for Works on Paper is awarded biennially to an outstanding contemporary work on paper. This is a prestigious national art prize, with the winning artwork entered into the Banyule Art Collection.
The theme for the 2023 was Nhalinggu Bagung, meaning come gather in the Woiwurrung language.
Finalists include Peta Clancy, Kathy Fahey, Robert Hague, Bridget Hillebrand, Winsome Jobling, Virginia Keft, Damon Kowarsky, Frances Lee, Bruno Leti, Kirsten Garner Lyttle, Dennis John McCart, Juanita McLauchlan, Roma McLaughlin, Paula McLoughlin, Antony Muia, Chris Orr, Rochelle Patten and Katie Howard, Ryan Presley, Brian Robinson, Lisa Sewards, Liz Walker, Corban Clause Williams, Laura Wills, and Belinda Wilson.
Opening night and award ceremony is Friday 15 September from 630 to 830 pm
Exhibition continues until Sunday 26 November.
