Solander Gallery is pleased to present
20 May to 27 June
Solander Gallery is getting ready to welcome everyone back after the New Zealand national lockdown with the group show Essential Work. Solander artists have been invited to reflect on these challenging times and how they are emerging from isolation.
The exhibition's title points towards the idea of art being essential for practitioners as both their livelihood and life’s work. Not only is art essential for the creator but also for people who engage with the cultural fabric of society. Essential Work is a celebration for artists, galleries and the public alike.
Gallery opening times will be announced following the transition to Level 2 restrictions.
