Prints celebrating Mexico's Day of the Dead
The Day of the Dead [El Dia del los Muertos] is a uniquely Mexican celebration. Although it is now tied to the Christian festivals of Halloween, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day, its roots lie in pre-colonial festivals for the Aztec Goddess Mictecacihuatl, Queen of the Underworld.
Opening: Tuesday 14 October 2014 at 3 pm
Exhibition continues till 22 October
