'After Turner' at The F Project Warrnambool
The F Project Warrnambool is pleased to present
After Turner
In 1832 the great British painter William Turner travelled to the Channel Islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Herm, and Sark.
This exhibition celebrates the 250th anniversary of William Turner's birth through etchings and drawings of a wide range of locations in Guernsey, Herm, and Sark. Places that would have been both familiar and unfamiliar to Turner – much has changed in the last 200 years – but are always conscious of the dramatic landscapes and wild skies for which Turner is so well known, and of which the Channel Islands provide so many examples.
The etchings in this exhibition were printed at Portland Bay Press in collaboration with Phemie Chong from Odd One Out Hong Kong.

SOURCES at Altes Spital Solothurn
SOURCES with Hyunju Kim opens Friday 19 September at 7pm at Altes Spital Solothurn and continues until Thursday 25 September.
This exhibition comes out of our three month residency at Altes Spital Solothurn, and reflects on the centrality of water to this city and life in general – be it human, animal, or plant. Whether it is the River Aare, or the eleven distinctive fountains found throughout the town, water is everywhere in this part of Switzerland. The title also plays on the notion of water as a metaphor for ideas and knowledge - as a well, as a spring or source, as flow.

The Last Show
This is the last ever exhibition for Paulette and Vincent at Solander Gallery in Wellington. It's been an honour and a pleasure to work with them over the last 16 years, and before that with Paulette's mother Carol and Grodentz Gallery. Paulette and Vincent were expert gallerists – hardworking and professional - and always ready with sage and much appreciated advice. Thank you both for your friendship and for helping make Wellington the art location it is. Wishing you all the best for the new adventure that now unfolds!
