Peebles Print Prize

 

 

The Peebles Print Prize 2021 will be announced at 11 am on Saturday 28 August.

PPP21 judges David Hurlston, Senior Curator, Australian Art NGV and Lisa Sullivan Senior Curator Geelong Gallery were pleased to select 31 finalists for the 2021 exhibition.

Selected artists include Susan Baran, Terence Barrett, Victoria Bilogan, Hannah Caprice, Lana de Jager, David Fairbairn, Sarah George, Bridget Hillebrand, Julie Mia Holmes, Lizzie Horne, Bron Ives, George Kennedy, Michele Kershaw, Helen Kocis Edwards, Damon Kowarsky, Steve Lopes, Marion Manifold, Stuart Meyer-Plath, Cat Poljski, Paula Quintela, Geoffrey Ricardo, Therese Shanley, Melissa Smith, Ruth Stanton, Elmari Steyn, Kati Thamo, Andrew Totman, Hilary Warren, Cleo Wilkinson, Deborah Williams, and Aliki Yiorkas.

Exhibition continues at Queenscliff Gallery until 27 September.

Megalo Intaglio Online Exhibition

 

Megalo’s Intaglio Online Exhibition showcases the work of thirty international contemporary printmakers.  All art works selected for this exhibition have been produced with intaglio as the primary medium. This includes drypoint, etching, aquatint and mezzotint techniques.

Thrilled 'Reflection I', originally part of Kate Gorringe-Smith's Overwintering Print Project, has been included in the show.

Banyule Award for Works on Paper

 

 
Very pleased to announce that 'Central Market' [2020] has been selected as one of 33 finalists in the 2021 Banyule Award for Works on Paper from a field of 202 entries.

This years theme is 'community'. This drawing shows the shared spaces that are so vital in making up what is important to us in cities.

The show opens on 17 September and continues until 28 November.
