Others Asias Summer Zine Festival
To coincide with the launch of GALERIE8’s web-based journal this event plays host to some of the most innovative publishing and print collectives, with a special focus on the dynamic work taking place in London.
On 23 and 24 July, the independent press and publishing A/FFAIR takes over GALERIE8’s atrium.
Presenting approximately 20 stalls, the fair features specially curated projects by ..ment, Art Licks, Dent De Leone, Marcin Dudek, Kilimanjaro, L_A_N, Landfill Editions, LE GUN, Mute, Nyx Nocturnal, Other Asias, Transition Editions, Turps Banana, YH485 Press and more.

Exhibition - Near and Far
The British Council Damascus is pleased to invite you to the opening of
Near and Far
Saturday 10 July from 6 to 8 pm
Prints based in part on my travels in Syria in 2009 as a recipient of the Toyota Community Spirit Artist Travel Award.
'It was a wonderful experience to visit the historical and cultural places of Syria and spend time with such hospitable and welcoming people. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to return to Damascus and share with you some of the things I saw. I am grateful to Elizabeth White and the staff of the British Council Damascus, and the Australian Embassy Cairo, whose generous support has helped make this exhibition possible.'
