Since 2008 the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and Cultural Development Fund have supported the Luxor International Painting Symposium. Organised by Dr Ibrahim Ghazala, General Commissar of the Symposium, it brings together 25 artists from Egypt and around the world.Over a two week period the participants share ideas and stories, explore the rich cultural heritage of Luxor and produce work for the exhibition that concludes the Symposium.
I am delighted to have been invited by the Cultural Development Fund and Australian Embassy Cairo to participate in this year's symposium.
